Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles Makes History With 'Stay' & 'All I Want To Do' Becomes Highest-Charting Debut Career Single

NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 28 -- Sugarland and lead singer
Jennifer Nettles not only recently won "Single Record of the Year" and
"Song of the Year" at the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards for "Stay";
Nettles has made history with the powerful ballad. Having single-handedly
written the track, Nettles becomes the first female artist to have ever
solo-written an ACM "Song of the Year." It marks the fourth time an artist
has done so period.

Sugarland is also notching the highest country chart debut of their
career at #27 with current single "All I Want To Do," which they performed
on the awards. Their previous best was #36 with "Want To."


The duo's upcoming third album, LOVE ON THE INSIDE, will debut July 22.
